There is a popular Rails-to-Trails wooded trail near my home. I walk a couple of miles as many days as possible in all seasons. When spring arrives, brightly colored wildflowers begin popping up, creating a stark contrast against the still mostly brown and grey landscape. Yellow, white, blue, pink, and lavender shades will come and go in the coming weeks. The blossoms are tiny and delicate but make a bold impression en masse. I'm sure their colors will inspire my palette for the rest of April into May!
